DicksnJanes #189: bk2nrml

The Scarborough Dude buckles down and does some work, but still manages to tie one on.

Music:
Knock On Wood - Eric Clapton - Behind The Sun
Istanbul (Not Constantinople) - The Four Lads - Magic Hits of the 1950s
I'm Stickin' With You - Jimmy Bowen - Magic Hits of the 1950s

Dude,

Your feed @ http://homepage.mac.com/mr3pr/dnjpodcasts/dnjfeed.xml is broken...

Can't get the latest ep in iTunes.

:-(

Cheers,

Rob

Rob- thanks so much for letting me know! Seems when I stripped 20 old shows out of my xml feed, I left in a couple of orphaned tags. I love the way feed validator shows you your errors - like a teacher with a red pen, or in this case yellow hi-liter. Presto- fixed! (I hope)

Sorry Ross - but when I played back the recorded clip the next day, it wasn't clear why I felt it necessary to refer to all my listeners as fucking cocksuckers, so I thought I should take that part out until I remembered why. You comment has helped me remember why - thank you.

Never thought I hear Sukhwinder Singh singing in the background on the DicksnJanes podcast ;-)

They've promised to extend Go service out here through Guelph and on to Kitchener-Waterloo by 2011. I'm hoping they do, and that it means better rail service into Toronto, because I truly hate the bus.

Yes Dude there are racists, bigots and sexists in each and every culture. Culture itself has degraded to such a extent where we have become passive in its content and its creation. The thing is a lot of said groups tend to bring over there hatreds and prejudice to other groups from their native lands. I mean some of it is understandable but not excusable. I think personally everyone is speaking but nobody is listening. Even if we do nobody knows what to do with the information. Everyone is stuck in the status quo not knowing what to do to change it.
